These pictures show the same patio as it cures. When concrete is first poured, it comes out of the concrete truck as a really dark gray. As it cures, the water mixed in the concrete evaporates out of the concrete allowing it to lighten over time. The concrete will be blotchy in color as it dries. Depending upon the amount of moisture in the ground, this drying process may take a few weeks to over a year.
